I have been shooting these beautiful vintage pieces for Arabella Bianco over the last week. It has only been since shooting these accessories I have been forced to look harder at the detailing and realise how intricate these pieces are and what a nightmare they are to shoot.
For the fellow camera/ strobist geeks. I shot this with a Canon 5D, a 24-105 f4 lens (as I didn’t have my 100mm macro) a very small, makeshift light box made from reflectors, diffusers and lots of super-clamps.
Lighting was a number of speedlights moved around with each shot to get the specular hi-lights all over the brooch, the separate images were then photoshopped to create the final composite.
